Rodeo is a competitive equestrian sport that arose out of the working practices of cattle herding in Spain and Mexico, expanding throughout the Americas and to other nations. Today's rodeo cowboy and cowgirls compete in events. These events are bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling and ladies' barrel racing. You ask why do they do this? Contestants win actual prize money and the honor of being called the champion!
Gates open at 6 PM and the show starts at 7:30 PM.
Tickets can also be bought at the gate.
